The Browne Firm is proud to work closely with Certified Financial Planners Practitioners, investment advisors, financial consultants, insurance professionals, Certified Public Accountants and tax advisors as part of the estate planning team. We believe the team approach provides our mutual clients with the most comprehensive, realistic and effective estate plans.

OUR APPROACH

How We Offer Service to Your Clients in the New York Metro Area & Westchester County

When clients reach out to The Browne Firm for help with their estate plans, we will provide them with a short questionnaire to get a sense of their need for an estate plan and the scope of what your clients want to accomplish. We ask clients to submit the questionnaire at least 48 hours prior to the initial consultation. This will help us streamline the conversation during an initial consultation so that we can more directly offer ways in which we can help them achieve their goals.

If the client submits the questionnaire prior to the initial consultation, we can provide general recommendations along with a quote for the services we’ll provide to meet their needs. The recommendations and quote will come with an engagement letter, which when signed will formerly lock them in as our client. They don’t have to sign the engagement letter immediately and there is no pressure to do so. We welcome clients who wish to take it home for review to do so and sign later.

If you wish to work together on a client’s estate plan, reach out to The Browne Firm online or schedule a Virtual Coffee.

Ongoing Communication

Once the engagement letter is signed and submitted to us, they’re officially our client and can benefit from the high-quality services we offer. They can expect ongoing communication with our attorney, which can involve the following:

  • Requests for additional documents
  • Refining and clarifying their goals
  • Discussing their legal options
  • Making necessary compromises

We strive to be as reachable as possible, which is why we’re open to using avenues of communication such as email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. We know it’s important to clients to feel like they can reach us when needed by almost any means, which is why we try to make that happen as often as possible. We believe in facilitating an ongoing conversation with our clients because we know it’s an essential part of helping them create the most effective estate plan that’s possible for them.

The Client’s Understanding Matters

The Browne Firm believes that each client should fully understand what they’re signing before they do so. We are dedicated to making sure each client understands what they are legally committing to, and to that end, we provide time at the Signing Ceremony to go over exactly what they are agreeing to. We will carefully explain each section of their estate plan and answer any questions the client may have during this process. Once the signing is complete, we will work directly with the client to ensure funding.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM

Everyone in business has their own way of doing things and interacting with clients. The Browne Firm has its ways, and no doubt you have yours. Regardless, we are happy to adapt how we do things to align with your established processes. If blending our respective methodologies is in the client’s interest, we’re also more than welcome to work out a detailed plan of action.

No matter what, our first concern is making sure your client gets the high-quality estate planning service they need from us. Our clients, and you, will benefit from regular communications from us through our webinar programs and newsletter.
